Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo lead the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, in the first fan returns for 2025 NBA All-Star voting released Thursday.

Joining Jokic (West frontcourt) and Antetokounmpo (East frontcourt) as top vote-getters at their respective position groups are the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (West guard) and the Charlotte Hornets’ LaMelo Ball (East guard).

Antetokounmpo has the most overall votes with 1.71 million and Jokic ranks second with 1.42 million.

Fans account for 50 percent of the vote to determine the starters for the NBA All-Star Game, scheduled for Feb. 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. Current NBA players and a media panel account for 25 percent each.

While Switzerland, followed by Sweden and then the United States, retained the top three positions in the Global Innovation Index (GII) 2024, Singapore overtook Britain to secure fourth place.
