LUCENA CITY — Police arrested a drunk man on Tuesday night for alleged violation of the election gun ban after residents complained of indiscriminate firing in Lucena City, Quezon.
The Region 4A police reported on Wednesday that policemen nabbed “Felicisimo” in Barangay Ibabang Dupay around 6:30 p.m. when he indiscriminately fired his gun and caused commotion among villagers.
Article continues after this advertisementA villager reported the incident to the barangay tanod (village watchmen) who sought assistance from the local police station, which dispatched cops to the area.

Police said the suspect was under the influence of alcohol when arrested.
